Best 42" for DVI signal? Presentations?

We're buying a 42 plasma for our new office, and aside from cable, dvds, I want to give presentations from an apple power book. They won;t be HD video, more like powerpoint, but I understand that the higher res of my power poor, somthing like 1024 x 760, is better suited for HD, even if it is simple graphics. True? Also, do I need to make sure it has a DVI input or will HDMI be my only option? S video is lower, right?

You will want to use a PC connection like SVGA (15-pin out of your pc to the plasma).

I would recommend a decent commercial display like the Panasonic TH-42PHD8UK

This is a 1024x768 (XGA) display which will work very nicely with a PC for presentations, but also includes solid performance for video displays.

If you need speakers built in from the beginning, then perhaps it would be worth it to step up to the Panasonic TH-42PX500U which includes speakers and a more stylized look. It is designed to go into a home more instead of a office, but works equally well in either environment.
