I was wondering if anyone has experience with or heard any of the BESL speaker kits. I am looking for a high-end 5.1 system with music equally as important as HT. I already have the sub, an SVS 25-31 PCi Plus.

I don't have any experience with them, but their components are of the utmost quality and identical to those used in the highly regarded (and in my opinion rightfully so) Linkwitz Orion.

I am on my 3rd pair of BESL speakers. I started with the Series 2.4's (now discontinued), and also have a pair of the M1.2's (also now discontinued).

My current system is a full-up BESL Series 5 system (MTM monitors and bass modules), using a BESL AAF active crossover. Simply the finest loudspeaker I have heard. Easily fills a large room and does a quick disappearing act. I find it excels especially on large scale orchestral music.

Phil is one of the most knowledgable guys in audio and is a pleasure to deal with!

Since you already have a sub, look to the Series 5 MT design. Sealed box design (2nd order roll-off) at around 80Hz makes them blend easily with your existing subwoofer.

The Seas mag-cone woofers and Millennium tweeters are simply top of the class - even better when put in the hands of Phils crossover designing skills.
