I'm considering both of these preamps for my 2 channel system which is integrated into my HT. Obviously HT bypass is a necessity and both of these preamps include it or so I've read. I had my sights on the W4S first because of all of the positive reviews but found that I could get the Belles used for the same price as the W4S new. There aren't any reviews of the 22A that I could find. Does anybody have any experience with either of these preamps? I'd like to hear about your experiences with them.

My system includes:
Salk Songtowers
Clearaudio Concept w/ Concept MC
Musical Surroundings Phenomena II
Parasound Classic 2100 preamp
Emerald Physics 100.2SE
Epik Legend Subwoofer

I'm using a subwoofer in my system now, the 2100 makes it so very easy to integrate, but may not use it with either of these preamps as it would be much more difficult to add in. Also, I've found the Songtowers low end much improved after replacing my NAD c270 for the EP100.2SE. But if anyone knows an easier way of integrating a sub w/o using the speaker level inputs please let me know.

Thanks,
Joe

Yes there is in indeed an easier way to integrate sub without using line level inputs and shockingly it's the...... Drumroll....... The av receiver. Particularly one with pre outs uf you need / want to use outboard amp
Now, why would you use 7.1 avr in 2.1 system - why not? You're not losing anything by using avr as preamp, in fact you just might discover that auto room corrections and dynamic eq could actually improve your sq
