Hello.

I want to sell my small Bose Companion 2 series II pair of computer speakers to buy the Behringer MS20: http://www.behringer.com/MS20/index.cfm?lang=eng

Does the Behringer have more bass?

Are the Behringers much more accurate?

What about the build quality?

Would you recommend Behringer products any at all?

I'm sorry, I can't listen to the Behringer because I can't get access to any due to many reasons.

Out of curiousity...Is there any advantage to having two ports instead of one?

I really want to replace this Bose system. Thank you very much.

The MS20's aren't bad, but if your looking for dramatic bass performance you'd need a subwoofer. Desktop monitors like that are designed with a flat frequency response, whereas typical computer speakers have a bloated low end (because customers love bass). Those speakers apparently go down to 65Hz, which is sufficient for monitoring spoken content and such on it's own, but won't give you the full range of most recorded music without a subwoofer backing it up.

On my computer I use a pair of M-Audio DX-4's, which have been great but would require a subwoofer if I wanted to listen to music and at moderate levels on them (I just use them at low volumes).

But, if you want bass, you'll either need a subwoofer with either of those... or perhaps a speaker which is more suited for that application.
