Behringer EQ question

No sooner than setting up my Behringer CX3400 active crossover and playing with a new radio shack SPL meter, I realized I needed an EQ very badly. All I have is a set of bookshelfs and a new kappa 12 build that I'm crossing over.

When I went off looking at Behringer's equalizers, I quickly noticed they have a built-in subwoofer crossover which is all I'm using the CX3400 for.
May be a silly question but I couldn't find anything specifically answering this in the manual. Do the crossovers in the FBQ series equalizers also do a highpass on the channel 1 & 2 at set crossover frequency or only apply a low pass on the subwoofer output? If it acts like a full featured crossover, then I guess I could have gone this route rather than the crossover and had EQ as well. I realize the crossover in the EQ is only a 12db Butterworth vs 24db Linkwitz-Riley in the CX3400 but I think for my application it would be just fine.
