Behringer DEQ2496, worth the hassle?

Purely a subjective question but interested in opinions. I have a recently purchased Denon 4310 with Audyssey MultiEQ XT. Possibly looking for greater control over 5.2 HT system by using REW. This apparently requires some learning on my part as it's not as simple as Audyssey, not even close. Implementing the suggested REW crossovers requires an EQ such as Behringer DEQ2496. There are some threads here that briefly discuss this unit but they are dated, and more importantly, not instructional enough to give a beginner such as myself the confidence to take this complicated endeavor with success. Thoughts...

Not sure what you mean by “REW crossovers,” but for less than half the cost of the DEQ, you can eBay an excellent EQ like the Yamaha YDP2006 or YDG2030.

Looking into the MiniDSP.

The Yamahas are similar to Behringer, at least same Pro audio type stuff. The MiniDSP might be easier to comfigure, I don't know for sure. Getting my head around it now...
