My system is:
SqueezeBox 3 classic
Parasound P3 preamp
NHT XD 2.2
Budget 300$ to buy either Behringer DEQ or Emotiva XDA1...
The XDA1 would help me get rid of Parasound P3 which is the weakest link in my setup; I would use the volume control in the Emotiva XDA (XDA is DAC and preamp).
This scenario would be SB3 (wifi transport)->XDA1->NHT XDA->speakers
On the other hand if I buy Behringer DEQ I can play with room correction and I would also use it as a DAC:
This scenario would be SB3 (wifi transport)->Behringer DEQ->Parasound P3->NHT XDA->speakers
Which one would you buy and why?
