After a long and dedicated performance from my Marantz 1050 and 1030 amplifiers which seem ample enough for the room size, there is the possible use of getting more dynamic range power handling with these new amps and some new equalizers from Behringer also you can turn the home cinema into cinema!

From my basic calculations I would need the following to run with passive X-over via the JBL Control 5 the sub bass extension the LFE.1 and surrounds I’m looking at x6 Behringer A500 possibly x7 if I decide to install the JBL control five-screen!

Well, it's actually 160 watts per channel into 8 ohms. It's an 18.5lb amplifier, so don't run it too long at reference levels - especially with demanding speaker loads, or it could overheat and go into protection mode.

Still, you can't beat the price for an amp that's more powerful than 98% of all surround sound receivers in two channel mode. Your price is a bit off. That unit can be had for $179 shipped here in the States.
