Ok this is my first system since the 90's. I just bought Bowers & Wilkins 683 S2 and a Denon X-3100 receiver/ No sub yet but would like some advise around the $500 mark/also no surrounds yet either advise too. I think I hooked up the system correctly but who knows (you walk through the park with the setup on the receiver) it seems all correct. It seems you have to turn up the volume way past the 80's to get any sound? It doesn't seem right. Let me know your feelings.
