Sorry - this is quite an old piece of news - it's been announced way back in January, however actual hard stop is not till end of this year Beats Electronics Is Breaking Up with Monster - Businessweek In 2013 - I might give Beats another look if they come out with new models ... , but given their price point and typically high fashion/low-value I'll stick to my Fostex/Shure etc... :)
