There's no doubt I think some of the nonsense they say is an embarrassment, but I really have enjoyed every speaker of theirs that I've heard and I have a pair of Rainmakers on order. I don't care what they say or how they do it, or why they say they do it, but their speakers just work for me.

A few years ago one of the audio rags did a thing on...

...asking readers to place quarters, nickles, pennies and dimes in various combinations on the top of their speakers and wanted to know if anyone "heard the change".

It is just too bad that a company that makes good speakers also resorts to such BS to make a few extra bucks. I would think it would hurt their sales by causing people to distrust them in general.

Yes. And, this product certainly can be tested to make a measured or audible difference with that speaker:D I would love to see that data.

Silly stuff, anything you put in the listening area will change speaker response but the same thing could be accomplished with a jar of pickled pigs feet that cost $1.99.
