Battle of the 300$ speakers

Which speakers in the 250-300$ range (for a pair) do you think are the best quality? All around, for music, movies, sporting events. Given you have a great amp/sub.

I personally have checked out the Paradigm Performance series and was impressed (Model = Titans). What do you people think?

The Monitor Audio Bronze 2s are probably the best I've heard for $300 (new). I've been toying with getting a pair of the newer Bronze B2's for my computer, partly to see if they improve upon the originals. TAS honored the B2's with an Editor's Choice award some while back...

PSB Image 1B. (comes in under $250)

I don't see an Image 1B on their site. Image B25 looks pretty nice, but it's listed at $450, and the smaller B15's are $350.

Apart from the very good Paradigm, consider auditioning Yamaha NS-555 speakers, a true underdog and yet stunning performer if accuracy is your priority. They are stunningly finished for the price range and use really high quality driver materials.

EPOS ELS-3 right at $300. 4 Ohm and low sensitivity, you'll need a decent amp with these guys.

I'll second the Athena AS-B2. It has better midrange than the Paradigm Performance line, but the highs can be a bit bright. Currently quite a bit less than a pair of Titans at just $150/pr though, so they are a much better deal.

u can get some polk audio speakers the one's i have is Polk Audio RTi8
they sound awsome in my theater room but there kinda expensive.$349.99 from crutchfield but they have nice audio.
