Bass traps,

Hey everybody,

I'm in the market for some commercialy available room treatments. Pretty simple question here.

What other brands should I be considering? and Why?
So far I'm aware of Realtraps and Gik. I just want to make sure that I consider all viable options before making a decision. I might even end up mixing them and getting some from several manufacturers. I know there are a lot of options, but don't know which brands I can trust to have a product that works and good value etc.

Ready Acoustics is another that gets used happily.

I checked out ready acoustics and they also have some really interesting stuff. That nested corner bass trap looks pretty cool.
So that gives me 3 brands to consider.

I spent time just searching the web for bass traps and found ATS acoustics, auralex and acoustimac which was very similar to ready acoustics, but they also had interesting designs.

Any thoughts from anyone on those brands?

Placed my order from Gik, 4 244's on the way.

Since I'm in a really weird room, I'll use two on the back wall and two on the ceiling above the seating positions.

The great thing is, If I ever convert that big spare bedroom into a dedicated home theater room, I can move them in there and use them.
