Bandwidth of connectors....real??

I have seen this on several cable companies literature.

I'll use Cobalt Cable's example

We provide ultra high bandwidth connectors to provide excellent signal isolation and signal transfer for any application.

Also, our premium RCA connectors contain bandwidth capabilities of up to and beyond 200 MHz!

Is this even a real concern? I mean were talking 1.5" of a solid metal...

Some Truth to it

There is some sort of truth to it..here is the thing...the better the material the better the trasmission and thus better bandwdith
