B&W Speakers and Denon

Hi,
I am new here, and I am glad to enter this forum. I have set of B&W speakers and a denon receiver. I am not happy with the sound quality I am getting, please suggest what I need to do? Do I need to buy an amplifier? I was thinking of buying a Rotle.....any suggestions to improve my system is much appreciated

Which speakers and which receiver specifically please. How big is your room and what exactly is it that you don't like?
