I have a pair of Paradigm Monitor 9 ver.6 speakers in the front of a 5.1 speaker system. The system changed radically as I was the precipitant of a gift. I now have 2 B&W DSM602 S2 speakers in the back, an B&W ASW 2000 Subwoofer and 2 B&W DSM602 S2 speakers for the front and a B&W CDM-CNT center channel speaker. Should I use the B&W DSM602 S2's in the front and rear for a matched set or put the Paradigm Monitor 9 ver.6 speakers in the front and use the extra B&W DSM602 S2 speakers from the front somewhere else(a pair in a bedroom....etc.)?

I want the best sound out of my main system!..............?

I'd stick the Paradigms in another system or sell them. B&W and Paradigm have two very different sonic signatures. Of note however, the CNT does not match up with the 602s, the CDM line was a noticeable step up from the 600 series at the time, so that's a consideration. The CDM line was very good IMHO, the 600s were decent, but not at the same level. I'd try to find a pair of CDM-1NTs for mains.
