I have a B&W ASW 610 sub. I've been using the spikes that came with it on a hardwood floor. Number one the spikes make little holes in the floor and more importantly it rattles during bass heavy songs and movies Mabye the holes and the rattling are connected? I hope its not the sub and is the floor. It doesn't rock if you touch it and i've tried drifferent locations in the room which is 24 by 20 by 8 and is sealed. Would sticking a rug under the sub help at all or should i switch to the rubber feet? (which I may have lost)

Most spike systems come with something to place under the spikes to keep from damaging your floor. The spikes are actually for carpet, so technically you could just remove them and put anything between the sub and the floor to keep it from vibrating or just get some more rubber feet.
