I got to see Mr. King in 2007 and he was fantastic. Everything you'd hope for and more. RIP Sir.

Yup, truly one of the great guitarists ever. Rolling Stones #6
http://www.rollingstone.com/music/lists/100-greatest-guitarists-20111123/b-b-king-20111122

I have at least 1 of his albums on vinyl.

Maybe 5 years ago, my GF bought me tix for our anniversary, BB King at the (historic) Majestic Theater in San Antonio. I bought a poster at the show, framed it, and it's been on my wall ever since.

When you see him play, you realize he can make the guitar make any sound that he wants, he truly mastered that instrument.

I've had the pleasure of seeing B.B. King 5 times throughout my life. Both at large and small (under 500 people) venues.

He will be missed.

Howdy guys,

I'm quite shure that in a few moments from now on, wncw.org ( Saturday House Party), will be dedicating a full 2-hours program to the King of Blues, no doubt about it, though.

For those who used to admire the King, stay tuned and I'm (quite) shure you won't be disappointed at all...
