Curious if anyone out there has ever had a chance to compare the Axiom M60 to the B&W 683 ?
Reviews and comments for both of these floor standing speakers are generally quite good, though I do
realize they are at different price points. Otherwise, specifications such as sensitivity, impedance and
frequency response are comparable.
Note: I am aware that the B&W 683 with its FST mid-range driver is a more expensive speaker so it may
be a bit like comparing apples and oranges. Where I live, the 683 retails for about $1800 CDN whereas the
M60 is about $1000 (factory direct), so they are at different price points.
Perhaps they are also in different leagues?
I realize that listening in person is the ultimate test. However any impressions, comments or comparisons of
these speakers would be appreciated.
