axiom center channel - install question

I've already installed A/C power and various LCD cabling (HDMI, etc.) up the insides of my walls. I seperated A/C from the others, but generally ran up the center of the wall below the TV.

I don't know why, but I forgot that I had planned to run the cables to the side and cut over the the TV.

Now, my soon-to-be installed center channel is going to have all these wires right behind it.

For those of you who might not know - the axiom is an excellent In Wall speaker - so it's going to be veruy close to those wires.

Will this cause an interference problem (physically or RF) for either the speakers of the "video" wire? Note that I do plan to recess the speaker all the way into the wall.

Thanks in advance.

From the pictures of the Axiom center channel speakers on their website, it looks like it runs from stud to stud and possibly to the wallboard on the other side of the wall. I would call Axiom and see if this is the case. If not then you could be clear. I don't think the proximity to other cables would be a problem. They do look like very nice speakers.

thanks for the input!

- so providing I don't have a "fit" issue that i need to inddress, I really don't need to worry about a power cable drawing 400 watts pushed against the housing, or the speaker's magnets doing anything to the HMDI cable?

-- ok - I'll put the tin foil back in the pantry!

Maybe you need to give the thread a little more time to see if there are differences in opinion on cable routing. I basically bundle all my cables together with power cords, extension cords etc. and I don't have any problems so that is what I am basing my recommendation on. There could however be accepted practices or building codes which might come into play which I am not aware of, and if there are this is the place to find out.

Hopefully someone can chime in about running all power cables, HDMI etc. together in wall next to a speaker i.e. speaker magnetism.

Cable routing

To minimize interference, run the AV cables on the opposite side of the stud bay (i.e. several inches away) from the AC power wiring. I wouldn't worry too much about interference with or from the speakers, but ask Axiom if the center channel is shielded.
