If you like bright, etched, artificial highs with a recessed midrange then fork over your 1.7K!

In the past 5 years I have literally owned over 20 pairs of speakers and I can easily say that Axioms are the brightest speakers I have ever owned or heard. :eek:

Brian,

I agree that they are on the brighter side, but I don't think that's necessarily bad. The M50s do have a recessed midrange, but I think the opposite is true when it comes to the 22s, 60s, and 80s.:)
 
I own a pair of 60s and I too was surprised by how bright it sounded when I first heard em. You desperately need a sub with these speakers, but that doesn't take anything away from the sound produced!
