Hi Guys,

As we all know, the so called format war has gotten ugly. I like to read what each side is saying, occasionally posting something here and there. It's like watching a good fight:D Anyway, when I went over to check the forums, I noted them all to be closed to new posts. It's a shame it had to go there.

So, here's to the rapid development of $200 BD/HD universal players so there will be no war:) I for one would buy three of those!

So half your collection is in BD, the other half in HD, and some other portion is on DVD?

Universal players are not the answer...they propagate the notion of having two competing formats that have very debatable benefits over one another, meaning that the consumer loses out.

I'd rather one of the formats win! :p Which one? Well the cheaper one!!

I bought the cheaper one, but will get a universal if they get cheap.

I bought the cheaper format that hooks up to the Xbox360.
