Arrg matie! It's a pirate show today (not really). It is listener question day as Dina and Tom discuss audio elitism including a long discussion on price points and what are some of Tom's review beliefs. Some insight into the inner workings of Audioholics is revealed. How to hide AV equipment to keep a spouse happy and why room treatments are for you squeaks in at the end. Don't forget, when you move your gear to a different room, you'll have to run wires though an attic or basement but that's the price you pay for pirate love. Keep those questions coming and we'll see you next week.

Great podcast this week. When discussing the email that discussed how expensive the gear that gets reviewed in magazines and possibly on our site, Tom asked Dina what type of gear I tend to review, and was I interested in getting into reviewing more esoteric gear.

For the record, I am NOT looking to get into more esoteric gear in my reviews here. In fact, my goal is to review "consumer" type gear that is readily available and affordable to a wide range of people. The whole point of Gear Corner reviews is to review more products of this type here at Audioholics. Rest assured, Audioholics will always be the place for in-depth reviews of higher end products as well. Our readers have come to expect that, and we will not dissapoint. But hopefully, I can continue to bring a variety of consumer product reviews to add to the library!

You can always send the "high end" gear to my house for long term evaluation...............at least a couple years :p
