Can someone tell me why my 3805 sounds dull when listening to Dish Network Sirius stations and even SD dish channels despite my manual eq being setup for a brighter sound? I am using an optical connection from the Dish 811 to the Denon 3805.
I tried using the analog connections with the analog setting on the receiver. This setup sounds much more like the sound I am looking for but I would like to use the digital optical connection, if I can get the sound I want.
I get great sound out of Dish HD channels and even Local HD channels through my terk antenna but the SD Dish stuff is driving me NUTS. Can someone tell my why the sound is so dull???
