Hey guys.
I'm looking for suggestions/advice on an AVR that'll work well with a 2-zone system. My totally-theoretical-plan is to run a 7.1 home theater as zone 1 and my 5.1 gaming PC/occasional HTPC as zone 2. I'm really hoping I don't need two AVRs to get this working properly.
My PC would be connected via a digital optical cable and is already set up and ready to do so. I've been looking at a couple sub-$800 receivers but most seem to have rather weak Zone-2 support, which is unfortunately a deal breaker. Others I'm having trouble tracking down details and am reluctant to take a chance on an otherwise quality AVR just to find out it's not going to work well with my setup.
While I'd prefer to stay below $800, I'm willing to go up in price for the features I need and just save up until I can afford it. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
