I have a Denon AVR 3805 and very much like the sound with my B&W surround speakers. As good as the 3805 sounds it doesn't have video up-converting and HDMI capability. I was considering the Denon AVR 3806 but have since been made aware of the capabilities of the AVR 4306 and the Yamaha V2600. I would appreciate any input on the capabilities/deficiences of these units. Price is an object.

How many HDMI video are you trying to switch?
How about a DVD player that upconverts instead? Might be less expensive to do?
