AVR for Bose AM6

Hi,

I recently bought a Bose Acoustic mass 6 and am looking for avr to suit . This is my first home theater system.
I hear to music daily and would like to stream wirelessly from my Google nexus4 and laptop. I don’t have any apple devices.
My budget is max 500$. I saw some reviews and short listed these avrs.
Sony str-dn840, Onkyo tx-nr 535, 626 and onkyo tx-nr636 and Yamaha rx-v577
I read that some receivers sound best with small speakers and some with large speakers. Since bose am6 are little cube speakers does it perform well with any avr?

I listened to the bose am10 connected to both the Sony str-dn840, Onkyo tx-nr 535 at a bestbuy store, playing songs through bluetooth. Sony didn’t sound loud and is thin I felt as if the subwoofer of bose is not working. When connected to onkyo 535 it sounded loud and I can feel the sub also. But onkyo has only 60W and sony has 95 w. So is it like sony str dn 840 doesn’t suit bose am6 or 10? Or is there any connectivity problem? With all the reviews in cnet I had high expectations on the sony.
I didn’t hear to Onkyo tx-nr626 and onkyo tx-nr636 and Yamaha rx-v577. How are these when connected to Bose am6?
Please suggest the best avr for bose am6. You are welcome to suggested any other avr that sounds better.
Where can hear to different avrs in store ?

None of those AVRs is going to sound "better" with Bose speakers, and to be honest they're going to sound "thin" no matter what you do; there is no getting around that with tiny little speakers. The speakers determine the sound more than any other factor, so just get the receiver you like the features of best. I'd still skip the Sony and of your choices, I'd go with Yamaha or look at Denon.

Where did you read this? This is totally bogus.

Since bose am6 are little cube speakers does it perform well with any avr?

Sorry to say, this is like the old joke where the lady asks her man if it's her new pants that make her butt look big. As with that one, it ain't the pants causing the problem.
