Today, I received my AIM5 One inceiling surrounds from avhifi.com (an authorized Speakercraft dealer online) and although I purchased my speakers new, I received one that was noticably used or returned. Packaging was horrible, screws were slighly stripped and there were dings around the screws as if the person installing used a screwdriver that was to big and it hit the sides of all four screws.
I hooked up the speaker to my easiest accessible line coming from my receiver and it appears to be working fine. At this point, I'm not sure if I should just purchase elsewhere next time or go through the hastle of returning it.
What would you do?
I was originally thinking about saving and buying some b-stocks but got these "new" speakers at a 15% discount. The issue appears to be asthetic, which won't be seen with the grill covers so I don't know what to do. I was really hoping on hooking these up this weekend!!!
