While walking out of the theater, I thought to myself, can't wait to see this at home on Blu-ray.

I really am glad the movie houses finally figured out if you release a movie on DVD/BR sooner rather than later you will peak more interest.

An article said the 3D version won't be out this year. It also said one of the deleted scenes would be a Nav'i "sex" scene.

With or without that sex scene, I'm getting Avatar BD the first day it comes out even at full price!

April 22nd. Indeed this one will be a bare bones edition. "Ultimate" edition seems to be scheduled for November. I assume that will be the 3-D version. That kinda sucks because I REALLY want this one, but of course I would like to have the 3-D version if possible.

Cameron said he wants it out this year but the studio is delaying it for some reason. Most likely what I said...didn't they already make enough money on this film?

I would like to get this BD ASAP but I'm going to wait for November. I want to see more of the behind the scenes features.

I'm not planning on doing 3D at home. Avatar is the only well done 3D movie I've seen or know about. I'm not buying all new gear for one movie.
