AV123.com Customer Service Story (Great)

I called AV123 this weekend because I realized a driver was blown in one of my ELT surrounds (how does that happen).
Now, right on the site it says the warranty isn't transferable and I told them I didn't buy direct but off of audiogon. I called merely to find a price.

Do you think he cared that I got them second hand?

Not a bit. He sent me a new driver and shipped it...FREE.

This is the very definition of going above and beyond, and they will get serious consideration for my future audio needs (yes, needs; desire isn't a strong enough term)!!! Work this good deserves at least word of mouth praise, so I'm doing my part.

No surprise here. av123, and many of the other online manufacturers go above and beyond when it comes to taking care of their customers. In fairness, there are manufacturers who aren't internet direct that also do a wonderful job with customer service. But, we are on the internet, aren't we? So we tend to hear more about the internet manufacturers than the others. Regardless, your story is a great one, and demonstrates exemplary service from a fine company.

Good to hear

I recently purchased a pair of Onix Reference 1's off audiogon and requested a copy of the origional invoice for the same warranty purposes. It is nice to know that if I ever have a problem, they will take care of it.
