AV to component

Hi guyz,

Is ti possible to convert from AV to component video, my directv reciever just offers AV out but my TV and reciever can take in Component inputs, not sure if it enhance the vieo quality but it will simplify my connectivity.

I don't mean to sound harsh but the way your question is asked is like saying 'I have a car, is there any way I can use diesel fuel?'

The key piece of information that is missing is WHICH receiver do you have (brand and model).

If the question is just generic asking if it is possible to transcode composite or s-video to component video, the generic answer is yes.
