I have a new Pioneer SVX 1126 K Reciever. I have connected the 5 speakers that I have and ran the HD cable box to the input into HDMI 1 on the reciver, then the HDMI cable out from the reciever to the TV. Worked fine, then when I turn the Pioneer off the next time I turn it, on it doesnt work, eventually it comes on after a while of turning it on and off a couple times and I dont know why. I'm concerned it is faulty. Any ideas would be appeciated. Thanks

It is probably the cable box. They are renowned for wobbly HDCP code handshakes, as just about none of them are HDCP certified.

See if you can get updated firmware for your cable box or an updated one.

You might also try turning things on in a different order. Try turning on the cable box last. You don't usually have to do that much anymore but the order of handshakes can make a difference.
