Hi all ,iwant to buy AV receiver for Bose AM15 II speakers Should i go with Yamaha , Onkyo or others?

If you want a truly honest, unbiased answer, here it is.

I wouldn't spend too much on a receiver for these. Go for a low dollar special. These speakers will limit virtually any receiver it's coupled to. sorry...

He's right. Any "great" amp is negated by the Bose. Bose seriously limits what the amp can do for you in the range of sound (Bose are just WAY too inflexible). If you bought something else we could talk till morning. But as it is, you might as well get a basic Sony or Kenwood.

I'd also suggest the least expensive reciever that has the features you want.

Why not get the receiver of your choice for now and update your speakers later.

why not dump the speakers now and get an amp later ? you;ll probably get better sound, unless your existing amp is a smoking heap of charred plastic...
