does anybody know if there is a way to disable the auto/on to make it always on my subwoofer doenst have a switch to keep it on and it cuts out alot was fine at my old house because i had the cable box audio going out through the digital coax line and it got a good singnal and i could keep the volume at 60db but i had a open stair way so that absorbed the sound i moved into an apartment recently because of a divorce and now i think the sounds bounce of the walls so at 60db it seems realy loud and my stupid comcast digital cable box doest have a digital out only component (red @white) so the signal isnt as strong i do have it hooked up to the y adapter that hellped out too but now it just keeps cuting out and i cant keep the volume at a louder level here. so is there a way to open up the amp and disable this feature or am i stuck. i would buy a new sub but money is very tight with having to start all over again because of the divorce and alimony or as they like to call it child support. any help would be appreciated thanks.

I don't think you can disable the auto-on feature without dissecting the subwoofer and it would not be recommended unless you actually had electronics experience and knew reasonably well what you are doing.

Try turning up the subwoofer level in the receiver so it is greater than zero. If the sub is then too loud relative to the other speakers, turn down the volume on the sub itself.
