Im looking for some new headphones after my sennheiser HD555's started playing up. Any recommendations for headphones in the sub £100 category? Heard good things about the Audio Technica ATH-AD700 - which is at the top of my budget. Also seen good reviews for the Creative Aurvana Live! Headphones (ear-cup ), at £30 cheaper. Dont look quite as sturdy though - I can be a bit rough with them if ive been out at the pub.
Not got a fancy set up really, will be used only on my pc with a creative xfi music card. Used mostly for films and tv shows I download and mp3's with an average bitrate (bout 128-192). Would I hear the benefit of the ad700's?
Are there any others I could be looking at?
