This might not be possible, but it would be cool if Audioholics was able to do a review of the Denon 5910, and compare in with the 3910.

I am still leaning towards the 3910 as a new DVD player, unless the experts at audioholics think the 5910 is worth the extra money vs the 3910.

I have both. Is there anything in particular you would like to know?

Which would you consider better

Mainly I am just wondering how much better the 5910 is when compared to the 3910.

What would be your opinion on that.

Since Clint will be running some real tests shortly, I'll leave my oipinion short and simple:

Audio... they sound the same.

Video.... the 5910 looks better but he 3910 is no slouch either. I would have to say the 5910 is the best I have seen, but my experiences (other than the 5910) are limited to players in the $1K range. I did audition a $13K TEAC Esoteric universal. The audio was better than the 5910, but the video on the 5910 seemed significantly better to me.

Sorry I can't offer more detailed descriptions, but I'm not that big on the video stuff.

IMO, the difference in price could be well spent on any number of other items, so I'd opt for the 3910. The video would have to be INCREDIBLY better for that price difference, IMO. If you're just looking for bragging rights, get the 5910. If you want a solid player and still have enough left for a new sub, go for the 3910. :D
