Just reading up on this (I also have a Dayton Omni Mic system) and can create my own filters. I just don't know if those can be imported into my Integra DHC 80.3 w/o the Audyssey kit.

So it looks like I would need to purchase a license to enable it and find a calibration kit. Is that about the gist of it?

From what I know you need the Audyssey Pro to implement. As long as your processor can deal with Pro....finding a Pro kit last I looked was kinda pricey. If you can use a Dayton system, I'm interested as I have that as well as a Pro-suitable avr. Just never bought the kit.

I have the Dayton OmniMic system. You cannot import anything into an AVR with it. It gives you the speaker frequency response and that's it.

If we can create our own filters with it, that's something new. I wasn't aware of that. I bought that system several years ago and I'm going to check into it.

With regard to the Audyssey Pro EQ system, IIRC Gene recently mentioned somewhere that it had been discontinued.

Only way I know of is to use my Dayton mic with REW :) (but not into Audyssey).

This is what I was reading up on. I was hoping that I could find a rental rig or something used.
