having dual subs in my HT, this is one of the few "new technologies" in AVR's that i am really interested in. i find the timing of the release kind of strange - unless it just wasn't ready for prime time yet (doubtful) wouldn't it have made sense to release this BEFORE the new 2010 lines of AVR's were coming out? it makes some of the new so-called "flagship" AVR's seem not so flagship-y (i'm looking at you, marantz). so now i'm stuck with 2 not so great choices. 1. spend a lot more money than i wanted to for a lot higher level of AVR than i need just to get XT32 (like the new denon). or 2. limp along until next year's AVR's come out, when probably every mid-level AVR on up will have it. does anyone think there might be new AVR's released mid-year to take advantage of this?

The Denon 4311 should be out very soon IIRC.

I want MultEQ XT32 mainly for the Sub EQ HT section. I was going to order one when they came out but I decided that would be crazy so I got a AS-EQ1 which should still have more resolution on the sub end.

Dawg, can you point to any specific post that says that the ASEQ1 has more rez? Was it by Chris? Thanks.

Ok, after a couple of more searches, I find that they have identical rez for the subs. It's just that (if I am reading correctly), you need the Pro kit to obtain this rez with the Denon. Therefore, the ASEQ1 has better rez than the Denon 4311 when NOT using a Pro kit?
