audyssey and multiple subs

i saw this question asked before but never saw an answer for it. i don't believe it has been covered in the multiple sub setup guide. lets say you have a nice AVR with one of the higher level audysey programs in it. (for simplicity, it only has single sub capabilities). now lets say you go buy four identical subs and place them in each corner of your room. you level match everything and they are all setup properly. using a four way rca splitter, you feed them all into you AVR and run audyssey, which sees all four subs as one single sub and performs it's room correction magic simultaneously on all four subs? would this not be the best and simplest way to setup multiple subs?

If you read the updated multiple subwoofer setup & calibration guide this is covered well. Their recommendation is as you say for a rectangular room. Identical subs in 4 corners, level matched, then apply a single correction curve to all subs. Thinking 4 Rythmik F15s? Wowee that would be some serious bass!

my avr has MultiEQ XT and I have two identical subs and I run my calibration as if the subs were one,I have one on the front right and one on the rear left.works great IMO,but I also run an antimode 8033c with a y adapter to the 2 subs.

and hell yes ! your bass must sound great !

I have Audyssey with my receiver, but I tuned my dual sub set-up and everything else by ear.

Am I evil?
