Audussey MultiEQ App Question

Hello, I recently purchased a Denon AVR-x4700h and I did the on board calibration then I tried the Audussey MultiEQ app just to try it out.

My question is when the calibration from the app is completed. Are you supposed to go back into the AVR settings and manually change those settings according to the app? Because the results showed in the app is different from my original calibration using the onboard calibration.

Did you send the file to your avr after running Audyssey with the app? All the info is on your tablet or phone and needs to be uploaded to the avr.

No I did not, I didn’t see that option. I’ll double check again tonight.
Okay I found the upload to receiver option and here are my results. I did not edit anything in the app except changing my FR/FL crossover from 40hz to 80hz.

Those charts aren't a lot of help, really. The green is what Audyssey measured and the red is a predicted response, not actual. If you really wanna see what's going on a calibrated mic like this Umik 1, and learning REW (which is free) is the best way to go. Once you have accurate measurements you can make informed adjustments. Otherwise you're doing it by ear and shooting in the dark.
