Audioquest type speaker cable?

Hello All,

I like the braided look of the audioquest speaker cable, anyone know of a brand that looks similar that is not as expensive?

I am sure the audioquest is a fine product, just have an issue with paying more for the cables than for the speakers themselves

Speaker cable makes the least difference of any single thing in your system. If you're after looks, you can make your own cables for a lot less. I like AQ (if you get them for less than MSRP/used), but their speaker wire is a waste of money.

Forget Audioquest man. Overpriced and the built quality of their entry-level and mid-level is awful. Trust me I know something about them. I spent $450 on their bottom end line at bb. I was a newbie and i trusted the salesman for advices. And that's what happened to me, pissing away my money. Unless you have the dough go with their top of the line series but it will cost you thosands. Otherwise, yeah go with bluejeans or axiom. I just bought an axiom 35' subwoofer cable for $80 (that's including shipping) and man the quality is nothing short of awsome. Yeah compared it with the 12' audioquest subwoofer cable i bought at bb for over $50 with a transparent plastic insulation (yes i said transparent plastic insulation). Make your pick.

Buy cheap cables then get some techflex and shrink tubing and you are in business
