I noticed that AVS forum has an Android app, but Audioholics does not.

Anyone here know if there will be one for the wonderful Droids? :D

Congrats!!

I got an EVO and love the **** out of it!! :D

Make sure you install Angry Birds, fun and funny game!! You'll get hooked!

Also another cool app to get is couple of SPL meters :D

If you enjoy RedBox and rent from them, you can instal their app and the RedBox code generator and you can always get a free movie out of the Redbox :D

Some others:

Gasbuddy
imdb
Moviefone
Movies / Flixter

If you are into running or cycling, ya gotta get some tracking apps like : SportPal, Endomondo & DroidFit :)

I'll check out shopsavvy. Here's my must have list for Android.

Applications (pay):
  • "Beautiful Widgets" animated clock and Weather application.
  • "Grocery King" powerful shopping list application.
  • "Deadly Chambers" 1st person zombie shooter.

Applications with free and pay versions:
  • "Where" - Finds local food and drink based on your GPS coordinates.
  • "Lookout" a security application.
  • "Sound Hound" ever hear a song and wonder what it was? Sound Hound will listen for a few seconds and then tell you.
  • "Google maps"
  • "Pandora" internet music player but make sure you have unlimited data.
  • "Angry Birds" free game
  • "WiFi Analyzer" for finding and analyzing Wifi connections.
  • "Advanced Task Killer" closes apps that won't shut down.

An Audioholics app would be cool but I don't have a problem browsing the website on my Evo. I love my Evo. I use it all day and all the time in my car.

Apps:

BeyondPod (Excellent podcast player! Automatically downloads podcasts with no need for PC syncing)
Pandora
Last.fm
gStrings (instrument tuner)
RTA Pro
mVideo Player
Angry Birds
IMDb
Bing
Layar
MultiRemote
BestTube (Download youtube videos)
Shopper (Google, like shopsavvy)
Bubble (level)
Astro File Manager
Google Navigation
AppBrain App Market
Dish Remote App
Mint.com
ONN (Onion News)
DropBox

I don't use task killers because my research has told me that the newer versions of Android do not need them and they can sometimes do more harm than good. I get great battery life and have no issues.

My daughter has been playing a puzzle game.

I had to remove Angry Birds, it was just too big of a time suck. Of course, then I installed iMobsters, and that sucks my time even worse.

I been getting kind of savy using my EVO and since I cancelled my Uverse cable, I looking @ my present laptop (Asus G60vx) to see if I can use this to "DO IT ALL" setup.

Since my lappy has HDMI, I hooked it up to my Denon and I starting finding apps for remotes for my EVO phone. I installed remotes for XBMC, BOXEE, Gmote & RemoteDroid (both for my PC and Phone) and WOW!!!

So much fun and love HULU and all my movies that I purchased off iTunes and using this as my base unit for all of it.

Now I know there are some savy wireless keyboards that are the size of a remote control, but man; I never expected these kind of applications to be used for a droid phone.

Ok, now we need is a app for AH and I will be a happy camper!! :D
