Audio / video interconnects

I have read many things about speaker cable on this site, and I am now buying blue jeans cable for my speakers.

However, I do not hear much about how blue jeans / cobalt / river cable / monster compare to one another in terms of RCA, S-video, digital audio, etc. cables.

For instance, in terms of S-video, the Monster 3 is nearly the same price as other internet brands; in fact, Monster 3 is better priced than cobalt and river cable, and quite close to the blue jeans brand. Anyone know which one is actually better?

That is about the only difference between the brands.

By the way, the house brand at Radio Shack looks pretty good, is even less expensive, and performs just as well.
