K, advertisements that make noise and pop up are extremely irritating.

Those are typically done through Flash and Javascript. If you want to get rid of them client-side, stop Javascript from automatically scripting.

Some are ActiveX, but no browser should ever be used without ActiveX scripting set to Trusted Controls Only.

I let Firefox be my default browser. You could just let it be an icon on your desktop and use it to go to Audioholics and you'll never see another ad again. I'm sure the transition will be easier for you than it has been for me. ;)
Thanks, I missed that. That is what I'll do.

I can't believe they'd let an ad like that on here.

I listen to music while I surf, so, when websites start playing audio I get pretty ticked. I bet most the other members on here listen to music as they surf also.
