Audio through one speaker

I just set up a Coby home theater system. I have double checked my hardware connections and internal settings. The problem I have is that I am only getting sound out of the right front speaker. The other speakers have a very low hum so I know they are at least connected.

Any ideas?

To isolate the problem, swap things about. First, swap the two front speakers. If the problem moves with the speaker, it's the speaker. Swap the wires, if the problem moves with the wire, it's the wire. Keep at it until you've isolated the individual part that's not working.
