I'm a gamer and I'm also an audioholic. Over the last few days I have been doing some overviews on several gaming headsets. Although there are tons of companies that carry gaming headsets, there is one that I really like and that is why I'm doing this overview today. Audio-Technica has been around for quite some time and I've been able to listen to some of their designs, bit there is one I'm pretty interested in: the ATH-AG1 High-Fidelity Gaming Headset.
According to the company, this is the first headset of its kind to harness over 50 years of audio engineering technology. This headset features premium 53mm drivers that work synchronously with Audio-Technica’s core double air damping system (D.A.D.S.). You can also use them with the optional USB amplifier which they say delivers deep, resonating bass and total isolation. As most gaming headsets, the ATH-AG1 also allows for in-game voice communication through its microphone, and comes equipped with a 1.0 m fixed cord and a 2.0 m extension. A detachable USB DAC adapter with built-in headphone amplifier and 3.5 mm gold-plated connector is also included in the package. This headset looks very flexible and comfortable.
