Audio Splitter with Silence/Pause function?

Howdy. I have looked for a while and have not found anything about this but this is what I am trying to do: I am hooking up some radios in my truck (Like HAM, GMRS, CB, etc.) and I also have my head unit. I would like to be able to connect my phone by cable to play music through the head unit and when a radio has activity it either silences the music from my phone or pauses it on my phone (I think the pause feature may be a long stretch) and makes the radio input the new priority, then when the transmission is done on the radio, the music from my phone returns to the same volume. This would be so that I do not have music playing over voices from my radios. I would like to use the 3.5mm jack in the back of the head unit as the singular input. So I am wondering if there is a device that takes in 4 inputs (with a singular output) and can make #1, for example, silence when it receives activity from #2, #3, and/or #4. Thanks in advance.

he best way to do this, IMO, would be to use a proper DSP, like a Biamp Tesira Forte...

It will provide you enough inputs for all of your sources and allow you to implement duckers for mixing the audio as you choose. The output can be setup as you choose as well.

What you want is such a niche case, that no specific audio product does what you want exactly. You could use a hardware ducker and a mixer in front of it for the outputs of the 3 different radios, but at the end, it won't offer any serious customizing which it sounds like you may want to do.

Unfortunately, it's not like the Biamp unit is super straightforward to program and it is a 120v unit, not a 12v unit and would take a good minute or two to boot up every time you turn the vehicle on.

There are no car solutions I have heard of for this specifically. If I wanted to keep it really low profile, I might get a RDL mixer for the mics, and a RDL ducker, if they make one, as they are super small and easy to hide and power up quick enough.

Can't give advice without information.

In Biamp, the layout follows this type of logic...
