Audio Rack Problems

This is the audio rack I have now

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=2138613&cat=91850&type=1&dept=4044&path=0:4044:103150:4038:133221:91850

The only problem is that it doesnt have enough shelves for my needs anymore and I dont have room to put a second one on the other side of my tv. Ther is also alot of space vertically for each shelf but this gives it an empty look even when components are in it. I'd like to get an audiorack with a similair style, I like the silver b/c it maches my tv and the glass gives it a more modern look. Something about the same size just with more shelves is what I'm looking for. Found this online and it looks to be something I'd like but the shelves are a little too smaller for some of the bigger receivers out there

Are there any things I should look for in an audiorack specifically for sound vibration issues? and does anyone know a place online to find something like this online for a good price?

Thnx for the help

Those Billy Bags racks look great, but they're pretty expensive.

Yes they are a bit pricey. Alternatively, check out the 6 and 4 tier racks they sell at AVS123. I have both of them. Best racks I have seen for the money. Very solid.

.....you guys ain't got a hair on your humongous lard-butts if you don't consider attacking the situation with 2x4's, a Skil-saw, 16 penny nails, and dark stains.....

.....there is also room for the consideration of concrete blocks painted black with 1x12 stained shelves at various heights of the black stacked concrete blocks....

.....now, if you're loaded, and light cigars with a Lincoln sawbuck 5-note, disregard these suggestions and flaunt on.....

after 2 years of looking for a new rack on my limited budget & abilities (I will continue cutting a board because it is too short :) ) I went off the beaten path to my local restaurant supply warehouse. Posts & shelves are sold individually & has various sizes. The pluses for me were:
Price
Adjustable 1" increments
24x24 size fits bigger components easily
weight is not a problem.
ventilation is not a problem.

minuses:
you can see the wires in the back.

I apologize for not being able to post pictures.

I think it cost me about $130 for 7 24x24 shelves & 4 74" posts.

Here is a link to a manufacturers site http://www.eaglegrp.com/

Discman, your idea seems great, and that's the same way I am thinking of going. I am planning on getting the 18X24 shelves, and 63 inch posts, that should allow me to put up at least 5 shelves. Only problem I have is that the place I am thinking of getting it from don't have them in black, only chrome. Oh the thing about no way of hiding the wires, I am going to use that wire tubings to manage that. I am also going to add wheels on them so I can always get to the back of it all. Well, anyone let me know if you have any other ideas. :)

They may have posts with wheels. I wish my store had the chrome when I went.
