I'm in a bind where the video is bricked on my AVR, and a new buy is in order.
So many brands, so many options... what do I need to know?
#1. Digital is digital.
Past that... concerns are:
Overheating
Hardware Quality
Input / Output options
Past those... the realm of Processing protocols or software. I know nothing.
I've used Harman's Logic 7 for the longest time, and I've found it so excellent that I've been wearisome about switching to a new brand.
Are there any explanations that cover all of the different audio and video processing models and where they stand in comparison to each other from a fact point of view?
Argument is: Past a point no one can hear a difference. That aside, what are the best processing protocols or languages or 'correct me', out there? What are the worst?
Apologies if this is in another thread. I've been looking everywhere and slightly limited to browsing from the office.
