I would like to be able to voice while playing music in web sites such as PalTalk. While others seem to be able to to this, I am experiencing extreme difficulties with the zonar d2x sound card. While playing music and/or chatting in Paltalk, the volume levels are way too low. Ive spent hours going the all the features that xonar's sound card has to offer. My current setup is:
6 core AMD processor
ASUS motherboard
ASUS xonar D2X sound card
8 Gig RAM
Logitech analog 3.5mm jack desktop microphone
The soundcard, via SPDIF is plugged into a Kenwood audio receiver. Which is surround by 5.1 Klipsch speakers and 12" powered sub.
The system has floor thumping volumes and the mic should pick up better than it is. I dont seem to have any issues doing this in other programs such as Skype.
